This is what society, and especially the pharmaceutical industry, has taught us. And since there is a lot of money in the business of selling pharmaceuticals, that message won’t change anytime soon. The idea is not to stay away from germs but to build up our immune system so that our body can do its job of keeping us healthy. Our bodies are amazing at keeping us healthy and healing as long ad we don’t compromise our immunity by eating highly-processed foods and refined sugars, or by living a life filled with stress, anxiety, and fear. By taking care of our mind, body, and soul, we can build up our immunity and naturally withstand illness.
Myth 3: Asking for help is a sign of weakness.
